Seventy Fifth Post with Shop 1802...

Wow this is my 75th post on my blog. WOOOO. So many things have changed since I started this little baby of mine. I have worked multiple different jobs, gone back to school, decided I wanted to quit school and go to hair school, decided I should probably stay in school so I re-enrolled, started photography, changed majors, and met so many wonderful people on the way.

Life is such a crazy journey, being a girl from Utah who loves the fact that I have the both mountains and a large metropolitan area right by me and moving to Idaho (where I can't even buy my desired mascara in a store by the way) you could say it is something I never thought I would have done. Ever. Ever. Ever. Did I say ever? You get it. Okay, well news flash Sam, sometimes you end up liking where you live. Weird. That's right never thought I would admit it but I kind of like this little state we call Idahome. (although I will hopefully be moving AS SOON AS I GRADUATE.... in 3 years.... *insert eye rolls and boos here*) Point being, it's all in the attitude, and Idaho ain't so bad.

This dress Is from 1802 a cute store I found via Instagram, they have a variety of looks for affordable prices, you won't be disappointed when you check them out. On top of those affordable prices they are giving my followers/readers a discount YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so at checkout use the discount code: sammosssam30 for 30% off your purchase, the code will be valid until July 13, 2015 :)

Westwood Sunglasses...

Summer is in full swing and sunglasses are clearly a necessity for your summer time activities. I grew up in a family where my Grandpa is a very talented carpenter and my dad also did woodworking. So wood crafted things have always intrigued me. Not only that but I have a lot of entrepreneurs in my family so supporting local has been a BIG thing for me. So when I was contacted by Westwood I was STOKED to say the least. This company is a local Utah company (#REPRESENT), these sunglasses are wooden sunglasses made out of different types of wood.

They are getting ready to launch their tribal line and they are doing it through Kickstarter, they are a great company with quality products. I'm telling you these glasses are sturdy. Perfect for beach days, lounging by the pool, or longboarding down the canyon.

It's over at the end of the month so if you want to support them you should do it soon.

Two Piece Lovin'...

It's kind of ironic because I look at these pictures and think "Yeah, I'm a total city girl." Then I remember that I was bunny huntin' and shootin' shotguns last night... So I guess you could say I love and live the best of both worlds. Because I love the big city shopping, and I am beyond excited to visit NYC this summer, however I love camping, shootin' guns, and anything that goes along with any of that...

I have been looking for a two piece set that I love for MONTHS now and I cam across this one from Pleated Empire, and lets just take a moment of silence for it...................

Like do you see it? The pattern is great, the color is even better, the neckline is on point and the length of the skirt isn't too long nor too short. Not to mention that it fits like a glove without making you look weird in those areas you might feel uncomfortable about, oh... and it feels like you are wearing a cloud. Okay bragging over, just make sure you check them out they have so many cute items, if you aren't about the one piece life they've got you too!!

Summer is For Kimono's...

Guys, I have been suffering up here in Idaho without photographers. One because my blog suffers because of it, and two I don't have many people to go out and take pictures with. Well guess what? I finally have a photographer that I am going to be working with constantly for my blog and going on shoots together. So if you want pictures let me know!! :)

We did this shoot yesterday and had so much fun, we decided to plan a trip to Utah next weekend in order to do shoots together with a bunch of people down there. Also we brainstormed ALL night about different shoots we want to do. So we are going to need MODELS!! If you're interested in that also let me know :)

This outfit is simple but classy. I like the casual but still 'look good' feel it has. Once again I have my Polette sunnies on that I LOVE LOVE LOVE and this kimono is prime!! A cool feature I've added to my blog is the shop-able pictures. So scroll to the bottom and check that out. Obviously I don't want any of you to feel pressured to buy anything. But it makes it easier if you would like to buy a look I style. Instead of clicking on a word at the bottom of my post, it gives you all of the information on the tag that is connected to the picture.

HAVE A GREAT SAFE WEEKEND!!!! XO

Gold Accents

MONDAY. It's only Monday.... What?! Over the weekend we went to Salmon Idaho and hiked up to some hot springs, it was seriously so beautiful!! Idaho isn't that bad after all. Although we did have to drive 2.5 hours in order to get there. I'm just used to things like that being so close by having to drive that long is a different concept for me.

Anyway, this top is from Hope Ave. Can I tell you that this store is soooooo cute. I couldn't decide what to buy! I wanted to take the whole store home with me. You need to go check them out, especially my girls in Idaho because we all know there are very few places to shop up here. But Utah girls they have a nice feel and different look than a lot of the stores down there so be sure to stop by one of their stores. They have locations in WA, UT, ID, check the link above for exact locations.

Floral Kimono + Flower Lush Mothers Day Giveaway..

Oh hey blog, you do still exist... Sorry I have been MIA these last couple of weeks have been CARAZY!!! But this weekend I was sick and had no other option but to lay in bed for what has now almost been 72 hours straight, minus the trip I took to the doctor, and to McDonalds to get a diet coke last night... I'm an addict of that stuff, guilty as charged.

The only thing I have to say about this outfit is these are some of my staples. Loose fitting black tank, black leggings, kimono. If you don't have a floral kimono yet, you NEED to get on stat. Trust me.

It's Mother's Day this coming Sunday, so I have teamed up with a couple of awesome bloggers to giveaway a gift package from Lush. April snow storms bring May..?

Like I said I had another look from STAY and here it is. It snowed in Rexburg (LOL it's April) so why not share a cozy warm outfit? If you guys like companies with a meaning this is one to check out. STAY is all about being yourself all the time. "Stay who you are" you can then attribute that meaning to whatever you would like but for me wearing stuff that has a meaning is much more powerful than putting on whatever because it looks good. Hence my OBSESSION with Alex and Ani. This beanie is definitely comparable to my Neff beanie and its cheaper... soooo like get one!

Gearing up for Spring semester here at BYUI (it better freaking be warmer than it is right now) I've moved apartments, living with new girls, have a new job that is on campus and trying this whole being a responsible adult thing... We will see how that goes. I like to pretend I don't have to be one of those but it keeps biting me in the butt... So hopefully this time it sticks.
