Insomnia Is Real

What happens when you can't sleep at night? I for one blog. Here I sit on the floor of a bathroom at a hotel in St. George, so I don't wake up the friends I'm here with. The wifi is super slow so it is taking a while to do this post. This outfit is pretty simple. But I love this shirt!! My sister brought it back from Paris for me. The sleeves are sheer so you can wear this in the summer without getting too hot. Perfect for a baseball game right? Plus, it's from Paris. Too bad I wasn't with here in Paris when she got it, maybe we will have to take a special trip to Europe and go shopping Shelby! ;)

Night Owl

I have a real problem when it comes to actually sleeping at night. Here I sit at 4am typing a blog post. Sometimes you get knocked down while you are trying to get back up, and sometimes it is best to come to the conclusion that all you have is yourself. If people let you down, it's time to stop relying on them, or expecting anything from them. Learning to stand on your own two feet and be independent is what life is about right? So that's where I am, ready to take on this world alone, independently and on my own two feet. So I can prove that I can to others, but more importantly to myself! 

I love this outfit and I LOVE how the pictures turned out even more thanks to RSP! Is it still okay to wear jackets? Because clearly it was windy this day and a little chilly, so I'm going to say yes and use that as my excuse. This jacket was a killer find at Forever 21, actually this whole outfit is from Forever 21 minus the converse, they are all older pieces, but Forever 21 is always a good place to find way cute things for a decent price. Camo

A little something you probably don't know about me is that I'm kind of a wannabe country girl at heart. I love camping, I love fishing, I love country music ALL the time (and no, Taylor swift is not country), I love horseback riding, I love shooting guns, I love the mountains, and I have this fantasy that I'll live on a ranch one day. However, that probably will never happen because that's where the wannabe comes in.. I definitely still like my civilization too. Growing up I was determined to be a city girl, that was a corporate business woman, who lived in a sky-rise in NYC. But growing up with my grandpa, that slowly starts to fade. So I'm confused in the middle somewhere... Anyway, I love camo and can we take a second to thank whoever is bringing it back in, and hope it stays FOREVER? Thhis is also the same tank I work in this post here. Today I'm excited to get to have a family day in Salt Lake! Hope you have a wonderful Thursday. It's almost the weekend. Yay!!!

Spring & Snow....

First off I want to thank my beautiful friend Rachel for taking these pics for me. She has officially made me want to go blow 500 dollars so I can get a camera like hers. But it was so fun going and doing a shoot with her. Little does she know she may get sick of me calling her to go and take more.... :)

So today I woke up and checked all my social media as usual to find out it was snowing, at the end of April.. What? Thank you Utah for being bipolar when it comes to weather. So I looked outside and sure enough little flurries coming down from above... *insert eye rolling emoji here* On a happier note I finally got the white chucks I have been dying to have all year! Yay!! This dress is seriously so comfy, it's like I'm basically wearing a nightgown! Love it.
