Sundress Lovin'

If I'm being honest I found this dress in my Mom's sewing room the week before we left on our cruise. It has to have been sitting there for at least four years now. The question is why did I wait this long to find it, and wear it? It's the perfect white dress for summer! In this post I styled it a dressy casual way, next week I plan to style it completely casual. We found it at Ross a few years back. But good thing for timeless pieces like this one right? Pairing it with this Camo Jacket was perfect. I LOVE this jacket. One of my best purchases ever. It goes great with so many different outfits! Anyway, shout out to the weekend! I love Friday's. I'll be spending mine at a campfire by the lake :) what are you doing?

Insomnia Is Real

What happens when you can't sleep at night? I for one blog. Here I sit on the floor of a bathroom at a hotel in St. George, so I don't wake up the friends I'm here with. The wifi is super slow so it is taking a while to do this post. This outfit is pretty simple. But I love this shirt!! My sister brought it back from Paris for me. The sleeves are sheer so you can wear this in the summer without getting too hot. Perfect for a baseball game right? Plus, it's from Paris. Too bad I wasn't with here in Paris when she got it, maybe we will have to take a special trip to Europe and go shopping Shelby! ;)

Warm, Cozy, & Fuzzy!

So I finally got out to go take some pictures! My guess is I won't be able to post again until finals week is over next week... But we will see. I love Rexburg but I am so ready to be back in Utah for the summer. According to my countdown app I have 7 days 18 hours and 32 minutes until I can leave Rexburg!! I can't wait to be back where I can hang out with all my buddies, you know who you are!<3 My plans for summer? Work, work, work, hit up Southern California and hang out on the beach! I am so excited!! Yet here I am still wearing a sweater, because don't you worry it's still winter here. Loved that April Fools joke of snow Mother Nature. Thank you. Just when you think it's spring here she starts laughing and sends more of that white fluffy stuff! But I found this fuzzy sweater (which I have been wanting since January) at Bohme the other day for only wait for it.... $10. Such a steal!! So comfy, so cute! I love clearance racks, especially when I see something I almost bought for 50 bucks on sale for 10! Bohme always has good finds on their clearance racks! Definitely love that boutique that originated in Utah. Shout out to the women that started it. I will forever be grateful for you!

Textured Sweater + Neff Beanie!

You know when you just aren't tired at night and you decide to make waffles with your roommate? That was definitely us two nights ago!! 1:00 am, Lex and I were cookin in the kitchen. Seriously nothing hits the spot like syrup late at night!! Thennn tonight at 1:00 am we were making what we decided to call cocaine chex, because it is seriously the best snack EVER, and anyone that tries it is instantly addicted! Basically my point is my sleep schedule is totally not what it should be.... Oh well living the college life.. YOLO! ;) haha 

These pictures finally kind of depict the wind of Rexburg. But not really, walking around on campus was like sitting in Dorothy's house while she was on her way to Oz. I had to hold my beanie down so it didn't fly off my head, it would creep up my forehead and I thought for sure a couple of times it was a goner. I love this textured sweater!! It's light weight enough that I think I may be able to get away with it during spring. Anyway have a solid weekend everybody :) thanks for stopping by and reading!!

Aztec Eskimo

What up? What Up? I would tell you something exciting about life, but in reality it's pretty boring these days. I go to class, come back and do some homework, Netflix is one of my best friends. It just gets me and is always there for me no matter what. Shout out to Netflix. The weather here is soooo bipolar. Why did I call this post Aztec Eskimo? Because, that is what I feel like. I check the weather, it says snow and cold weather, so I dress semi warm but try not to look like an actual eskimo. But let me tell you, it's pretty awesome when you think it's going to be cold outside so you dress warm, and then... bam! It's not cold... So you walk to class and are burning up once you get inside the building. Oh well at least I had some style while I was frying on the inside!! Thank you Rexburg for this awesome bipolar weather, we love it! Sincerely all the students up here (spoken so sarcastic that it will never come through correctly via internet but you get the idea:) ) Secretly I'm okay with it though, because I like layers, long sleeves, and boots!

If you can't tell I REALLY like this necklace... So kinda stinks that it's not available anymore. But a gold chain link necklace can seriously be paired with almost anything! Can't beat that. I love this cardi, but I wish I would have gone down one size, it kind of fits big, but I still love it! The pants.... hold up, so great!! H&M saves me once again!!:) 19.99 for black jeans? Did I mention they have other colors? Yeah, prime steal right there! And they are comfy. Sometimes I ask myself if I actually have jeans on ;) but really they are GREAT! Ohhh and before I forget thank you SOOO much to Michelle for taking these pics. ~ Black, White, and Gold ~

            First things first. I LOVE these shoes. So cute. Around the ankle stilettos are definitely in right now, but throw some gold around the ankle and you are in business! Harem pants? Or what I like to call MC Hammer pants… comfy and cute. Throw a chiffon blouse with it and all the sudden you are dressed up, still comfortable and it took almost zero effort.

            Black, white, and gold. Simple, basic, but classy! I got to have a fun little tea party with the girls in the fam today. Sat around a classy table, had sandwiches, and chatted. They got their tea and I stuck to my Diet Coke. Yes, I have a problem. Typical white girl right here. Hope your weekend is going great!:)
